Red Velvet by Red Sofa

Everything is getting Red. Red is our auspicious color.. as we always believe :P

It's started by the request from some of RedSofa customers (can't you believe it, less than one month, Red Sofa has its own customers!).

Red Velvet is a legendary cake and hard to find here in Jakarta. Some shops have their Red Velvet cupcakes. But RedSofa has the Cake!

Not too dense but moist texture and a good balance of acidity and sweetness, it comes to a beauty touching your mouth.

ChocoLove by Red Sofa

What is ChocoLove? What is RedSofa?

First, ChocoLove is the chocolate cookies that's baked in the cups. We call it cupkies. With a dark chocolate taste, a chocolate chunks and raisins, you grab one cupkie and your buds crave more. A very good pair to dark coffee.

Secondly, and the most important thing, Red Sofa. What is it, again?

Red Sofa is an integrated brand of MAMA. I may say it's the premium integrated brand, with special designed packaging by our new business partner, Glenn Marsalim.

Glenn is one of the most regularly award winning person, means, he's quite well-known in the advertising world here in Jakarta. Aren't we lucky enough; when the idea popped up over our casual conversation one day, to launch a good product with nice packaging.

Our first product is ChocoLove, launched to celebrate Valentine's Day. As the whole world celebrate that Love day, so did one of the famous jeweller Frank&Co, celebrated with some couples in Bali, together with RedSofa ChocoLove.

Finally!

We manage to put apple pie into our base ice cream. It's all from the scratch, we peeled the apple, cut to dices, cooked with the spices and made our homemade apple pie filling. Then we crumbled the pie crust and folded into the ice cream.

So when you spoon the ice cream into, the apple chunks will dance together with the pie crust in your mouth. The spices? Like other apple pie out there, of course, our MAMA Apple Pie Ice Cream has an ultimate spices taste!

What is Premium Ice Cream ?

Some customers asked why we put Premium Quality in our ice cream label.
Premium Ice Cream tends to have low overrun and higher fat content than standard ice cream, and using high quality ingredients.

And, many customers asked us whether our ice cream is low fat or not. And with smile they would get the answer as above "it's high fat"(ouch!). Yes, we use a full cream milk, double cream and best ingredients for our ice cream. And, if you looking for a tastier ice cream, why bother for the calories ;)
One important thing is, we make it from scratch. It means we don't use the manufactured ice cream pre-mix to make ice cream custard.

Back to the low overrun in Premium Ice Cream. So what is overrun? The overrun itself means the amount of air that is whipped into the ice cream. If it has low overrun, so the ice cream has a small amount of the air in it and has more ice cream. And, it's not too soft to spoon into.

All ice cream should have overrun, otherwise it will turn into just another solid block of ice :)

Stop by at our shop, have a spoon for a taste of every flavor (yes, you can taste all flavors of our ice cream on the shelf). Or, you just give us a call to have the ice cream delivered to your door step. Don't forget, we make the cones also, so if you feel like to have the ice cream spooned into the cone ice cream, just let us know!

Chocolate Melt

We believe that chocolate can improve the mood, so we bring this Chocolate Melt, and become one of our best selling product. Served warm with soft center and strong shell, the intensity of chocolate will indulge your sweet tooth.

It is very easy for you to enjoy our Chocolate Melt at home. By preheating the oven to 180 degrees, put the foil cup on heat proof surface, and 'dunk' it into the oven. After 15 minutes when you see the shell is set, take it out and flip onto the plate. You can serve it alone or with MAMA ice cream of your choice ;-)
